Dev Logs for week 3/10 Map Design.

Overall Summary

So Far I have worked on the tilemap and the camera I really on focused on importing some other assets and aligning and fixing the tilemap I have made a camera confine system that stops the player from looking outside the map, worked on other types of assets that will be imported soon( I just gotta finish  drawing them) , working on the park in the middle of the tilemap in level 1, and imported some newer assets like the STOP paint shown above

Tilemap:

The Tilemap is nearly done in the most basic of senses the general textures and tiles on the floor are about 90% done so far. I am working on more tiles to be in the park the part is the middle in that screen shot. sprites and trees and buildings will be added soon I just gotta finish the technical stuff.

Game Mechanics:

I added a different camera system that makes the player not  look outside of the map  with the use of a polygon collider. Currently, I am gonna work on the layout of the buildings and signs and stuff on a paper version of the map in level 1. Coming back to the camera system , I will make the player have restricted access to the outside of the tilemap with the use of colliders. 

Atmosphere:

we are looking to have an overgrown look to  the map I have work on small things like trash cans or graffiti something like that each level will have a different look to them as each level will be based on a borough in New York( Queens, Brooklyn, etc). other sprites will be put like trees and more greenery like vines and stuff. I will say this is 10% this is really just the least important as I am still working on the Core of the tilemap(I.E the tiles themselves)
